Streamlining Syndicated Lending with SaaS

System Implementation

A major Canadian bank was operating with fragmented and heavily manual workflows to manage syndicated lending. The lack of centralization and automation led to inefficiencies, increased risk of human error, and operational bottlenecks. With growing volume and complexity in their lending operations, they needed a scalable loan servicing solution to modernize their back office.

We were brought in to lead the implementation of Loan IQ — a robust loan servicing system — and to align its capabilities with the bank’s operational needs.  Our goal was to help the bank reduce manual interventions and streamline syndication workflows

Throughout the project, we facilitated over 20 workshops to document requirements, optimize business processes, and guide stakeholders through change. We ensured that every system capability was mapped to a real operational need, removing bottlenecks and creating opportunities for future automation. We also led comprehensive product training, system demonstrations, and supported user acceptance testing and data migration to ensure a smooth transition and successful go-live.

The result was a more efficient, standardized, and scalable loan servicing environment. The implementation significantly reduced manual handling and laid the foundation for further automation — including system-triggered alerts, automated interest schedules, and integrated compliance reporting.
